A cozy weekend with GoGlamping Denmark

Jacob and I have had the absolute pleasure of testing this beautiful wagon: "No.9 – The Office" at Krusmølle Glamping in Aabenraa, Denmark for GoGlamping. I've been looking for beautiful destinations for a Danish staycation this Summer and GoGlamping has an amazing selection of unique accommodations for a weekend getaway or a stop on the Denmark-round-trip. Here's how our cozy weekend went.

No.9 – The Office

This is a former office wagon that has been restored and turned into a little glamping wagon. The wagon is super cozy with lots of throw pillows, pretty interior & cute details, and most importantly: The most beautiful surroundings right outside our windows.

A few practical good-to-know details: The wagon has a big bed, seating both inside and outside and a kitchenette with a little fridge with a freezer inside and an electric kettle. There's tableware for two but you can find all the things you are missing in the common kitchen including an oven, stove and a bigger fridge.

My favourite part of our weekend was sitting in front of the big windows while eating breakfast, enjoying a cup of tea or a glass of bubbles. I could sit there for hours and just enjoy the views – especially when a little duck family came by outside the window!

Friday

When we arrived to the common wagon, where the shared kitchen, bathroom and showers are, we followed the signs for our glamping wagon "No.9". It was not hard to find as it is basically next to the common wagon, however, it still managed to feel very secluded and private.

A bottle of bubbles were already waiting for us when we came, and we enjoyed it on our terrace with views of the little lake and greenery. We had brought a grill so we didn't have to make all our meals in the common kitchen, but when we needed the kitchen, it wasn't crowded at all and we never stood in line for neither shower or bathroom.

Saturday

Saturday was spent enjoying the nearby surroundings. The whole area is full of lakes, hilltops, small streams and the ocean only 500m away, so it wasn't hard finding something to do. We discovered a swan cycling boat in one of the lakes and decided to take it for a spin.

Sunday

On Saturday we ordered breakfast for the next day, so Sunday morning we went to the common kitchen at 9am and picked up our breakfast basket to see what good stuff we got and we were pleasantly surprised! Not only did we get bread, jam and cheese, we also got yoghurt, eggs and bacon, fruit, coffee and juice! We stuffed our bellies until it was time to head home :-)
